Why Should Your Group
Go on An
Outdoor Adventure?
Spiritual
 God has given us a
beautiful and diverse world which reveals to us His "eternal power and divine
nature through what has been made by Him" (Romans 1:20). Unfortunately, most of
the time we are surrounded by the man made things of this world. Shopping malls,
computers, phones, and other distractions of this world make it hard for us to
focus on God and hear what He wants us to hear. Take away these distractions,
and the silence will pierce your soul, your eyes will see and your ears will
hear what revelations God has in store for you. Many or our participants have
told us that they could not ignore God’s presence it was all around them.
Personal
 The Bible gives us
many accounts of men being led out into the wilderness. Abraham, Moses, David,
Elijah, Job, Paul, and even Jesus, went out to be tested, spoken to, or renewed
physically and spiritually. Spending time in a wilderness setting allows you
this same opportunity. Group members will not only grow spiritually on a trip,
but will also grow personally as they are pushed mentally, physically, and
socially.
Community
 During a one week
adventure you will spend a large amount of time together as a group. You will
spend more time with the group than you would meeting two hours a week for a
full year and its all in one experience. You will live life intensely together.
Facades will break down, you will sweat together, take on challenges together,
and have conflicts together. This is the real thing. You will discover each
other’s unique character and gifts. Group adventures always result in deeper,
more meaningful relationships, a stronger sense of group identity, and group
purpose.

love God and care about people. As mature Christians, their desire is to bless
your group with the same goodness God has blessed them with.
The Right Stuff
Equipment can make or break an outdoor adventure. As specialists
in adventure recreation since 1978, we have kept up with the times to provide
new quality gear for all of our adventures. All gear
needed for an adventure is provided, in most cases the most an individual needs
to bring is personal clothing and footwear. Individuals (gearheads) can bring
their own gear if they wish, however it must pass our strict inspection before
use.
