Christian Adventures (CA) is always
looking for
Adventure Guides.
CA needs guides for the summer of 2008. We
need
guides for the entire summer to lead trips in Colorado, Michigan, and other
destinations. We also need
guides for short-term trips.
Skills & Requirements
You must be a strong,
mature Christian, who claims Christ as their Lord and Savior. You must also
agree with and believe Christian Adventures
"Statement of Faith".
A person, who is willing and eager to learn new skills and has a heart of
outdoor ministry both for Teens and Adults, are more valuable to Christian
Adventures than a person with 10 years of experience. However, experience
is also very valuable. If you have experience in backpacking, rock
climbing, Mt./road biking, and outdoor ministries, you will have an
advantage over other applicants. All CA staff must be 20 years of age by
June 15th.
Staff Training
All positions require two weeks of staff training.
The first
week will be spent at the Michigan basecamp while the second week will be spent at
your specific basecamp depending on your position. All CA guides are
required to have first aid training. Head guides must be
certified as
Wilderness First Responders (WFR).
All other guides must have a minimum of First Aid and CPR.
