Located at the base of Long's Peak, the
Colorado Basecamp is in the very heart of the Rockies. The view alone is
breath taking, then add activities like mountain biking, rock climbing,
rafting, and backpacking and you have a trip that will not soon be
forgotten. Choose a 4 to 5 day backpacking trip and experience God's
creative work in Rocky Mountain National Park. Mountain biking, rock
climbing, and whitewater rafting are offered as full day activities. A day
of rock climbing includes instruction in safety, skills, knots, and
technique, along with a variety of climbs on real rock that range from
novice to expert. Mountain biking also includes instruction in safety,
skills, and technique, along with a challenging trail ride that will test
your new learned skills. Add some speed and even the most experienced rider
will be pushed. Whitewater rafting is done on the Cache La Poudre, and is a great introduction
to whitewater rafting.
No matter what you choose to do it will
be a time never to forget.
