Experience the northern shores of the lower peninsula of Michigan. 
Explore inland lakes, unique sights, quaint towns, and the majestic
beauty of the Great Lakes.  Start this 5-day tour near Torch Lake
and take a day off in the middle to visit historic Mackinac Island. 
Finish the tour in Alpena.

- Vans depart Michigan Basecamp (5:00 PM)
- Arrive at Adventure Starting Point
 
Monday,
July 21
Day 1 - Torch Lake to Petoskey
           Take the back roads through the small towns, visiting places like East
           Jordan, Boyne City, and Charlevoix.  Catch a small cable ferry along the
           route and ride along many inland lakes.

Tuesday,
July 22
Day 2 - Petoskey to Mackinaw City
           Ride along Lake Michigan through Harbor Springs and Cross Village on
           your way to Mackinaw City.

Wednesday,
July 23
Day 3 - Mackinac Island
           Ride the ferry to the island.  Bring your bike along if you'd like to ride
           around.  Enjoy shopping, hiking, museums, historical sites, and the
           beauty of the lake.

Thursday,
July 24
Day 4 - Mackinaw City to Roger's City
           Turn south and follow the shores of Lake Huron through Cheboygan,
           passing Black Lake and stopping at Roger's City for the night.

Friday,
July 25
Day 5 - Roger's City to Alpena
            Finish strong as you ride to places like Presque Isle, Grand Lake, Long
            Lake, and more.  Cruise into Alpena for a great dinner and one last
            night together!

Depart for Home
- Return to Michigan Basecamp (12:00 PM)
